For once (really?) let’s depart from the sacrosanct rule of never airing a film twice at LUFF. In 2005, we presented this documentary, which made us discover the staggering Canadian band, the Nihilist Spasm Band. Fourteen years later, after having welcomed many spiritual children of these cacophonous pioneers, the NSB and its handcrafted instruments are preparing to defile our non-melomaniac ears. It was therefore unavoidable to return to this essential film, as an ideal complement to a meeting of flesh, bones and decibels that is already historic… at least from our point of view.
