For several decades, Jean-Luc Bourgeois has been practicing playing of gongs and bells collected during his travels to the East and West. The setting up of what this former organist calls his «Asian organ» is the result of a long development, which he plays in an improvised way in a more melodic and harmonic approach than percussion. His performance in the Tell chapel accompanies the opening of his story La mesure des vents, in which this instrument plays a central role. It led him several times to the archipelago of the Azores, which is its main theme and from which emerges a whole range of unexpected resonances.
